Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Who doesn't love Macaroni and cheese? and even better, Baked Macaroni and Cheese. With it's creamy consistency and crispy top, it makes an amazing dish that everyone will love, and believe me, this recipe is all about the cheese!
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp cheese whiz
4 cheese slices
1 tbsp margarine
1/2 cup milk
1 cup grated cheddar
1 - 2 tbsp bread crumbs
1 tsp chopped parsley
Drizzle of olive oil
Salt to taste
Method:
Bring salted water to boil and cook elbow pasta half way leaving them a bit hard. Drain and place back in pot. Add next five ingredients and stir until everything is melted and creamy. Oil baking dish and add pasta. Add grated cheddar, bread crumbs, parsley and olive oil. Bake at 375 until topping becomes golden and crispy.
