Swiss Butter Balls
I made these wonderful melt in your mouth deserts this weekend and ended up bringing them to a family get together, I think they were a hit as they were eaten up almost immediatelly.
Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup icing sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup icing sugar for topping
Method:
Mix together 1/2 cup icing sugar and butter. Add vanilla and mix all until creamy. Add flour and stir until smooth. Mix in walnuts.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls and bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Roll in remaining icing sugar.
