Saltimbocca
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups fllour
2 3/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
3/4 - 1 cup water
Prosciutto cotto
Hot cacciatore sausage
Method:
In a stand up mixer blend all dry ingredients. Add water and oil. Mix until dough forms a ball. Remove dough from mixer and knead on a floured surface until smooth. Slice sausage and prosciutto and set aside. Cut dough into four equal pieces. Roll each piece about 1/4 inch thick and cut into 1 x 2 inch pieces. Place either sausage or prosciutto on each piece and roll shut. Place on prepared baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown at 400. Once cooled place in zip lock bags to stay moist.
