Nutella Crepes

Crepes are thin rounds that are sometimes sweet or savory. They can be served rolled, folded in half, quarters or even folded up into little square packages with various types of fillings.

I first tasted the Nutella Crepe while vacationing in Italy. I remember them being quite large and were served folded in quarters, they were absolutely amazing.

Here is my simple recipe that makes a fun and quick desert.

Ingredients:

1 cup of flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of water
2 tbsp of melted butter
Pinch of salt
Nutella, as much as desired

Method:

Beat eggs, add butter, then the milk. Next add flour a bit at a time but do not overmix. The batter should be thin. Pour a bit of the batter into a non stick pan and swirl around until a round is made and the bottom of the pan is filled. When the edges of the crepe start to brown, turn the crepe over and cook until that side is done. Spread each crepe with Nutella and either fold in quarters or roll and cut in half. Sprinkle with icing sugar, this is optional. Makes 6 servings.

Bon Appetit!
