Pumpkin Spice Bran Loaf

Pumpkin is so versatile during the seasons of fall and winter and offers plenty of opportunities for being creative. Whether it is pureed, stewed into soup or baked into cakes or cookies, it should be included in almost every fall or winter menu.




Ingredients:


2 cups Rogers Wheat Bran
1 cup of milk
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp Clubhouse Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Clubhouse Ginger
1/4 tsp Clubhouse Ground Cloves
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp Magic baking powder
1 tsp salt


Method:


Combine bran and milk and set aside for five minutes. Add pumpkin, egg, spices and sugar. Mix flour, salt and baking powder and add to pumpkin mixture. Once mixed pour into prepared bread pan and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clear. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes.
