Pastette di Mandorle



Pastette di Mandorle are almond based deserts that can be savored with a cup of your favorite coffee, cappuccino or latte. I made these to share with family next week at Christmas.

Ingredients:

300 grams Almond Flour
200 grams White Sugar
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp. Vanilla
Maraschino Cherries cut in half

Method:

Place all ingredients in stand up mixer except for the maraschino cherries.  Mix until all is blended. Using a tsp., spoon out portions and place on lined cookie sheet. Place cherries in the middle and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 375 until bottoms are golden brown.
