Citrus Pound Cake

Citrus Pound Cake is a wonderful rich and buttery cake that can be served plain, with a glaze, whipping cream or together with fruit.

Ingredients:

3 cups flour
1 cup margarine
2 1/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp orange zest
1 tbsp lemon zest
3/4 cup vanilla yogurt
1/3 cup orange juice


Method:

Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Mix butter and sugar until creamy consistency is received. Add eggs one at a time and mix until creamy. Add dry ingredients and zests alternately with the yogurt and juice. Bake at 350 in a prepared pan for about 60 minutes. Cool for about ten minutes.
